The Arc of West Central Minnesota Invites you rally your support at the
Board of Commissioners 3rd floor of the Clay County Courthouse in Moorhead
on October 24, 2006 at 4:00 p.m.~ 807 11th Street North Moorhead,
Minnesota.

Clay County commissioners are looking at making cuts in 2007 to several
human resource programs.  Some of the hardest hit areas slated for funding
slashes are:

- $76,000 reduction in county dollars allocated to a semi-independent
living program for people with disabilities.  The program will still
receive $302,000 in 2007.

- $46,000 reduction in the county’s day training and habilitation
services, which are vocational support programs for people with
disabilities.  This program will still receive $187,000 in 2007.

- A social worker/staff position, worth 1.6 full time equivalency, won’t
be filled.  This 	means larger caseloads for Clay County social workers.
