As I told you, I am going to be out of town, or I would be there.  However, I wonder if someone from the Homeless Coalition could go and speak to the need.  Sue, you might be a good person to do that since you are going to be on the Advisory Committee.  Good Luck to all.

P.S.  Dan:  Have you considered adding one or two people (a proponent and an opponent) from the Jefferson neighborhood to the advisory committee.  If so, it might be good to announce that on Monday (if you have contacted them), or you might say, "We will be requesting two people join us."  Maybe the opponents could select the opponent representative.

Hi everyone -- We are bringing the proposed shelter and detox facility at 1519 1st Ave S to the Fargo City Commission on Monday night.  Were going to have a number of people from the Jefferson area at the meeting to speak in opposition of the location.  No surprises there.  If anyone is available to attend and possibly speak in support of the facility, we would appreciate it.  The meeting starts at 5:00 pm and discussion on the shelter & detox center is #3 on the agenda, after a bunch of public hearings at 5:15.
