Hi,

I do want to be there but I need to be in Valley City at that time to
make a mandatory presentation for Barnes County United Way.  I am
traveling on to Bismarck Monday night after the presentation.  

I do appreciate the approach of planning for housing as well as the
temporary shelter.  Housing with supportive services will begin to
provide a solution to end long term homelessness in our community.

I will be thinking of all you and will be anxious for the outcome of the
meeting on Monday night.  I have appreciated the leadership of
Commissioner Coates and Senior Planner Dan Mahli.  I believe their
leadership is the key to finally resolving the Not In My Backyard (NIMBY)
issue and, for the first time, we can begin to make plans for this very
important project.
