This is the grant application announcement that Patrick forwarded to me.
This is about the court for the mentally ill that we spoke about at the last
meeting. Please look it over carefully to see if it is something that should
be considered in our area. Please note the May 6 deadline. Patrick suggests
that we might want to speak with Morrie Lanning about it. I am eager to get
feedback on this.

Say, Michael,
Hope things are going well; I just received this yesterday and haven't had a
chance to take a close look at it, although I am passingly familiar with the
MIOTCRA.
I'd suggest talking to Morrie Lanning about it; this might be the bridge to
interstate collaboration that we discussed last summer.
All best,
Patrick
(ps~ the Police/Provider Grant proposal was well-recieved in the House
Public Safety Finance Committee, and is being laid over for possible
inclusion in the Omnibus Bill. Thanks so much for the letter of endorsement.
And, thank Rep Lanning for his support; He is one of the co-authors.
Where the money for the Omnibus Bill might come from is something that is
presently keeping me up at night....)
