It was mentioned that the Media/Outreach Team of the “Waking the Sleeping Giant” met with Matt Von Pinnon, Managing Editor of the Fargo Forum. Many things were discussed and the team was able to ask all the questions they discussed at their strategy meeting. The meeting was very beneficial and lays the ground-work for more effective media work from our groups. One member also met with John Strand of the High Plains Reader. There is an offer from Strand that if we can generate a 1000 word Op-Ed from our group that he would consider running several of these stories in the next several months.
