We are starting a doorknocking campaign this weekend through November 8 (election Day)
I have set up several shifts- we really need at least six people per shift- please sign up so I know where I need to fill in with others! Remember, you do not need to be from my ward or even from Moorhead to help out-
What will you do?
You will knock on doors in the first ward in Moorhead on behalf of myself
You will check to see if they are registered to vote and if not, have them fill out a voter registration form- it is easy- we will teach you!
You will also give them literature and ask if I can expect their vote on November 8 and also if they are willing to put a sign in their yard.
We will go in groups and there will be hot apple cider and treats at my home at designated times! It will be tons of fun- I will also make each of you a button with my name on it- they are gorgeous pink and purple!
Shifts:
October:
Saturday 15- 10:30 - 12:00 and 2:30 - 4:00
Sunday 16 3:00 - 5:30
Monday 17 4:00 - 7:00
Saturday 22- 10:30 - 12:00 and 2:30 - 4:00
Sunday 23- 3:00 - 5:30
Monday 24- 4:00 - 7:00
Saturday 29 10:30 - 12:00 and 2:30 to 4:00
Sunday 30 3:00 - 5:30
Monday 31- Halloween- hand out fun treats while trick or treating with the kids! 4:00 to 7:00
November
Saturday 5- 10:30 - 12:00 and 2:30 -4:00 and 4:30 - 7:00
Sunday 6 1:00 - 4:00 and 4:00 to 7:00
Monday 7 4:00 - 7:00
Tuesday 8 -need phone bank volunteers!
Choose as many as you like and if you would like to organize another time with volunteers, just let me know!
